Dr Alexandra Bonner

Obstetrician & Gynaecologist

Alex completed her RANZCOG Fellowship in Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Monash Health in 2017, after completing medical school in Adelaide (2006), and a Masters of Public Health (2012) at JCU.

She began work with OGB Ballarat in 2021 and was involved in establishing OGB Surf Coast at Epworth Geelong in 2022. She has undertaken additional specialist training in minimally-invasive surgery ( laparoscopy) and pelvic floor surgery with the OGB team.

Alex consults at OGB Surf Coast at Epworth Geelong, providing a comprehensive management for a broad range of gynaecological conditions, including: pelvic floor prolapse, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, menstrual disorders and fertility. In addition, Alex provides specialist services as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Barwon Health at University Hospital Geelong, and she has a senior lecturer position for medical students with Deakin University.



Alex lives in Jan Juc with her young family, and enjoys the cold water of the ocean.
